Foodie weekend

31 Mar

Chill Winston @ 3 Alexandra Street, Vancouver (Corner)

  • Truffled potatoes
  • Wild Mushroom risotto
  • Tuna Tartare – amazing!!
  • Baby back ribs / ribs – oooh so tender
  • Dark chocolate truffles – $6 – fresh and perfect w/wine
  • Room is dark, rich and beautiful. So nice that out party spent 4 and a half hours there!

Nu – for brunch. Jazz brunch with Juno nominated singer, Melody Diachun.

  • Brie and Black Truffle Omelette – sold out!
  • Pear Brioche – with syrup and creme fraiche on the side
  • Guyere cheese soup – decadent!
  • Pomme frites w/truffle oil
  • Coffee – no orange juice
  • Come here on a beautiful and clear Sunday and you’ll get the best of Vancouver’s water views. Stayed here for 3 hours – no rush. Opentable.com gets you automatic reservations. Definitely will try the heated and glass enclosed patio with unlimited water views come warmer weather. My new fave must-go-to-place for weekend brunch.
